Ohio Bus Accident Injures More Than 30 People When Greyhound Bus Overturns in Butler County, Ohio

A Greyhound Bus carrying 52 people headed for Detroit overturns in cornfield sending 34 people to area hospitals included 4 critically injured.

Authorities in Butler County, Ohio, are investigating an Ohio Bus Accident that left more then 30 people injured when it overturned on I-75 in Butler County early this morning.

Butler County Emergency Operations Center stated that 34 of the 52 people aboard the Greyhound bus were transported to area hospitals. Six of the injured were airlifted with 4 passengers in critical condition and 12 in serious.

The Greyhound bus involved in the Ohio bus accident was bound for Detroit and was traveling northbound on I-75, about 26 miles north of Cincinnati, when it overturned in Butler County, Ohio around 4 a.m. this morning.

Christopher Lake, a passenger on the bus stated, “The bus started shaking… and we hit a tree then after we hit the tree we rolled… at least twice”

GMA tweeted a passenger stated “I looked up and I saw the bus driver and he was slumped over” another GMA tweet states “I heard a woman scream ‘Wake up! Wake up!’”

There is no word on what may have caused the crash.
